Questions & answers

What is Big Walk?

A cooperative multiplayer adventure from House House (the Untitled Goose Game studio), published by Panic. Groups of 2–12 players walk and talk across a shared island, solving puzzles that scale to the group. It's a 'walker-talker' — a game built around conversation.

Who made Big Walk?

Developed by House House in Melbourne, Australia, and published by Panic. Big Walk released August 4, 2026.

What platforms is Big Walk on?

PC (Steam and Epic Games Store), Mac, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2. It was also included in PlayStation Plus in its launch month.

Does Big Walk have crossplay?

Yes. PC, Mac, PS5 and Switch 2 players can share one session. Cross-platform parties join via a session code from the host's pause menu.

How many players does Big Walk support?

2 to 12 players per session. Puzzles scale with party size — a duo gets a different puzzle set than a full twelve-player party.

Can I play Big Walk solo?

Not as designed. Big Walk is co-op only, with no offline single-player campaign. It's built to be walked with other people.

How do I join my friends?

Same platform: select Join Game and pick the host from your friends list. Cross-platform: the host reads the session code from the pause menu (bottom-left), and everyone else enters it under Join Game → Join Code.

What are the red things around the island?

Red collectibles. The red tower asks for five of them; filling the tower earns a key that opens the Map Room (the blue doorway). The tower collect-and-slot loop repeats for green and yellow.

How do I lower the red bridge?

Solve four puzzles to collect four red figures, place them in the crown structure's slots, take the key that drops, feed it through the shredder on the right, then carry the cut key up the red walkway to the recess by the bridge. Full steps: How to Lower the Red Bridge.

Which tower should we do first?

Red, then green, then yellow. The red tower unlocks the Map Room and makes navigation dramatically easier; yellow is the hardest and is best saved for last.

Do I need a headset or mic?

Strongly recommended. Proximity voice chat is the core mechanic — puzzles and directions depend on talking. The walkie-talkie channel covers long-distance callouts.

Is Big Walk good with just two players?

Yes. Two-player is a focused, intimate experience, and the puzzles scale down. Four to six is the community sweet spot, and larger groups trade focus for chaos.

Where can I buy Big Walk?

On Steam, the Epic Games Store, PlayStation Store, and the Nintendo Switch eShop. It's a one-time purchase — no in-game shop or subscription required.
