The red collectibles — affectionately known as "the red things" or "the eggy things" by the community — are the currency of the early island. The red tower asks for five of them, and filling it is the single most important early-game objective.
What they are
Red, egg-shaped objects scattered around the starting area, bridge region, and the pockets of wilderness around the red tower. They're portable: one per player per carry, and they can be dropped and handed off.
What they do
Collect five and slot them into the red tower's slots to earn a key. That key opens the blue doorway — the Map Room — giving your group the island overview that makes navigation sane.
Known red collectible locations
The five red collectibles for the tower are tied to puzzles around the starting area. Community reports map them to these spots:
| # | Location / puzzle | Status |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Green Room puzzle | Community-reported |
| 2 | Tomato Cannon puzzle | Community-reported |
| 3 | Basketball Hoop puzzle | Community-reported |
| 4 | Telescope Gesture puzzle | Community-reported |
| 5 | Yellow Maze puzzle | Community-reported |
Pro tips
- Pick up every red thing you see, even before you know where the tower is. Stockpiling is free.
- The collectibles don't despawn — a "lost" red thing is almost always sitting in someone's inventory or near the last puzzle they solved.
- If you're short exactly one, sweep the five known puzzle spots first; that's where the final one is hiding 9 times out of 10.
