This is the puzzle that stumps most groups — because it looks like a code pad hunt and is actually a map-reading exercise. The two numbers printed on the sign tell you where something is, not what to type.

Hint 1 — What the numbers are
4166 and 1899 are map coordinates you read off the in-game map — the paper map from the Map Room. They are not a code to enter anywhere.
Hint 2 — Where to go
Travel to map coordinates 4166, 1899 on the island. You'll be in the south-central area, near an abandoned train on the southern railway line, beside a structure with multiple lights.
Hint 3 — What to look for
At that spot you'll find a pile of rocks. The hidden button is tucked between the stones — it is easy to walk straight past.
Hint 4 — What to do with it
One player holds the button down and keeps holding it. That's the whole trick — the moment they release, the glass relocks. A teammate must be standing ready at the beach box to grab the red gourd while the button is held.
The full solution
Step 1 — Unlock the Map Room
Complete the Red Tower (place its 5 red collectibles) to earn the key, then open the Map Room — the blue doorway. Take the paper map from the desk inside. No map means no coordinates to read.
Step 2 — Find the beach box
Walk to the beach near the Red Tower. Look for a frosted-glass box with a red gourd item inside and a sign beside it reading 4166 and 1899. This box is the reward, and it stays locked until the button is held.
Step 3 — Send a player to the coordinates
One player sets off for 4166, 1899 (south-central island, near the abandoned train on the southern railway line, beside a multi-light structure). Use the paper map to navigate.
Step 4 — Find and hold the button
At the coordinates, find the pile of rocks. The hidden button sits between the stones. That player holds the button down — and keeps holding it.
Step 5 — Grab the gourd
The moment the button is held, the beach box unlocks. The player at the beach opens the glass and takes the red gourd. Done — the box can relock as soon as the button is released, so the grabber should be ready and waiting before the button is pressed.
Tips
- Coordinate as a team. One player navigating with the map + one ready at the box is the reliable setup. Hand the map to the walker, not the grabber.
- Hold, don't tap. The button needs a sustained press. Tapping or standing off it lets the glass slide shut mid-grab.
- The GPS route works. If the Map Room hasn't been reached yet, the green-tower GPS gets you to the same rocks.
